Apella Beach is one of the most famous beaches on Karpathos and in the Mediterranean Sea. Located 18 km north of Pigadia, it can be reached by car, motorbike or boat. The drive is beautiful and overlooks the blue-emerald waters of the Aegean Sea, and feels like you’re traveling alongside a mountain’s edge. The beach itself has glorious white sand and pebbles, dwarfed by mountains and cliffs with lots of pine trees.
