Located on the east side of the island of Karpathos, Achata is a pebbly beach located in a bay surrounded by cliffs that are riddled with little caves. The drive to the beach is through a winding, curvy mountain full of pine trees and verdant vegetation. The waters on Achata have an amazing and attractive emerald green color and it is clear and it quickly gets deep when you go into the sea.
